Candura has been acquired by Grupo Raymundo da Fonte

The shareholders of Candura have sold the company to Grupo Raymundo da Fonte.

Candura started its activities in 1977 as a producer of components for the broom industry and plastic packaging for cleaning products. In 1981, the company entered the cleaning market. This period was important in its trajectory, due to the change in its corporate structure, where it acquired its current trade name. The brand named the first product launched in the cleaning area, bleach – until today considered the company’s flagship product. The success achieved in launching bleach opened new opportunities to invest in the expansion of its line of cleaning products. Candura has more than 40 products, divided into different categories.

Indústrias Reunidas Raymundo da Fonte was founded in 1946 and is one of the largest household products producers in Brazil. Its product portfolio includes 12 leading brands which meet the most diverse domestic needs. There are more than 350 cleaning references, personal hygiene products, condiments and insecticides. It operates six plants with more than 2,800 employees.

One of Oaklins’ teams in Brazil acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Candura in the transaction.
