Arssarnerit has joined VVS & El Firmaet to strengthen technical services in Greenland
Arssarnerit AS, a leading technical contracting and service company in Greenland, has been sold by MT Højgaard Holding AS to VVS & El Firmaet AS. The new partnership strengthens local capabilities and ensures continuity of technical services in Greenland, supporting long-term infrastructure development. It is expected to close in Q2 2026, subject to approval by the competition authorities.
The transaction includes Arssarnerit’s operating assets, inventory, ongoing projects, employees and guarantees related to completed projects. This sale marks the final major step in MT Højgaard Holding’s strategic exit from international activities.
Headquartered in Nuuk, Arssarnerit provides technical installation and service solutions for public and private clients. The company plays a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure and supporting development projects across Greenland.
VVS & El Firmaet, based in Ilulissat, is a locally rooted technical services provider with strong expertise in plumbing and electrical solutions.
