Iain is a partner at Oaklins S&W, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has over 20 years of experience in leading corporate finance transactions for clients. From fundraising to buying and selling owner-managed businesses. Iain has worked in a range of sectors on diverse projects delivering strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, management buy-outs, fundraising and disposals. Iain has a particular specialism in technology, media and telecoms, having advised on the US$220 million sale of Local World, a regional newspapers group; the sale of Responsource, a media database platform and journalist inquiry service; the management buy-out of Sparkol, a whiteboard video creation software platform; and the development capital raise by Cybsafe, a cyber security SaaS platform.
 
Iain qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC and is an Oxford University history graduate.
