Lauren is a managing director and co-head of the beauty, personal care & wellness team at Oaklins Intrepid, one of Oaklins’ US member firms. She also supports Oaklins’ beauty & personal care team. Lauren has over 10 years of beauty mergers and acquisitions and capital raising experience. She has a deep understanding of the trends and value drivers across the sector, maintains ongoing dialogue with the acquiror and investor universe, and has a proven track record of helping clients sell to global strategic acquirors and value-added private equity groups. Select transactions include the sale of Native to Procter & Gamble; the acquisition of Creative Laboratories by Gemspring Capital; the sale of Loving Tan to Gauge Capital; the sale of Tubby Todd Bath Co. to NexPhase Capital; the equity investment in DIME Beauty from Trilantic Capital; the recapitalization and growth financing of Obagi Cosmeceuticals with The TCW Group; the sale of Lilly Lashes to Gauge Capital; and the restructuring and sale of the consumer brands portfolio for Amyris.
 
Lauren was recently named on the list of “Top 100 Bankers” by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) in May 2025 and “Women of Influence in Finance” by LABJ in February 2025. She was also on the list of “Beauty’s Most Powerful Financiers” by WWD Beauty Inc. in September 2024. Lauren was recognized as a finalist for the “Next Generation Award” by the Los Angeles Times in November 2023 and awarded “NextGen Woman of the Year” by LABJ in June 2022. In addition, she was mentioned on the list of “Leaders of Influence – Private Equity, Investors & Advisors” by LABJ in June 2023, “Women of Influence in Finance” by LABJ in February 2022, “Women of Influence in Banking” by LABJ in February 2021 and “Top Women in Banking” by LABJ in February 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Lauren worked at Herbalife International of America as a member of the global contact strategy team. She earned a BA in History from Amherst College and is a FINRA-registered representative.
