Boaz is a partner at Oaklins Rosario in Israel, with two decades of investment banking and financial advisory experience. He has led domestic and cross-border transactions in several sectors, such as technology, retail, construction and industrials. Some notable recent transactions include advising the owners of Dan-Deal, a leading discount consumer products retailer, on its sale to Shufersal, Israel’s largest retail stores operator; advising iCast, an Israeli provider of audio content, to Storytel Group, one of the world’s leading e-book and audiobook subscription service providers; and advising a reverse merger between Margal Systems, one of Israel’s leading firms in specialty electrical projects and maintenance, and Brand Industries, a preeminent solutions provider involved in the design, production and establishment of large-scale steel projects.

Boaz started his career in managing public offerings of mid-market companies on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, later moving to managing sell-side and buy-side M&A assignments. Prior to joining Oaklins Rosario, Boaz was a senior vice president at Clal Finance, a subsidiary of the large Israeli insurer Clal Insurance Group. Among other high-profile deals, he was lead manager in the largest ever privatization in Israel – the sale of the government-owned Haifa Oil Refineries – for more than US$1.6 billion. Boaz has a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University School of Management.
