Case study

Finsbråten AS has been acquired by Scandza AS

The shareholders of Finsbråten AS, one of the leading privately owned food companies in Norway, have sold the business to Scandza AS for an undisclosed consideration.

Finsbråten produces sausages, cold cuts, cured meats, patés and bacon, and other processed meat products. The company has won numerous awards for its products at home and abroad, and is today one of the most award-winning meat companies in Norway.

Scandza is a leading Scandinavian food and beverage business focused on developing strong positions within selected fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) categories, including chilled foods, snacking and baked goods. The portfolio includes brands such as Sorlandschips, Norway's second largest potato chips brand, Synnove Finden, one of Norway's leading dairy brands, and Karen Volf and Bisca, leading Danish branded biscuit and cake brands.
