Unique Homes has been acquired by duPont REGISTRY

Network Communications, Inc., based in the USA, has sold Unique Homes magazine to duPont REGISTRY. Financial details of this transaction have not been disclosed.

Begun in the early 1970s as a regional publication called Uniques, Unique Homes quickly grew into an international media brand that today reaches affluent consumers in more than 80 countries worldwide. In 2014, it received a Bronze Award from the National Association of Real Estate Editors for "Best Design, Home or Shelter Magazine".

Founded in 1984 and headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, duPont REGISTRY™ produces the leading luxury marketplace publications for automobiles, homes, boats and watches, as well as the yearly Exotic Car Buyers Guide. The merger will create a pooling of resources unlike anything the real estate industry has ever seen. From a long list of titles, to countless points and methods of distribution, to massive digital audiences, agents and brokers involved within these marketing platforms will have direct access to a larger and more affluent audience.

For over 35 years, Network Communications, Inc. (NCI) has been a market leader in the real estate information and media sector. In addition to its strong position in the multi-family rental market, NCI also enjoys a leading position in the real estate and home design segments, serving them with a robust portfolio of magazines, custom publishing, marketing services and events. The company’s Magazine Group today accounts for nearly US$18.3 million in revenue and is poised for strong growth in the years ahead. With premium brands like Unique Homes, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and New England Home, NCI’s Magazine Group represents a portfolio of best-in-class assets serving the luxury home design and real estate markets.
