März 2025 — Mit der Übernahme von Westcoast wurde ALSO zum grössten Technologieanbieter Europas. Im Anschluss an die Transaktion wurde für Rechnungslegungszwecke eine Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) durchgeführt.

ALSO verbindet mehr als 120‘000 Resellers mit über 700 Anbietern. Das Unternehmen hat seinen Hauptsitz in der Schweiz und ist an der SIX Swiss Exchange kotiert.
Westcoast Ltd. mit Sitz in Theale, Grossbritannien, ist ein 1984 gegründeter grosser Technologie-Distributor, der IT-Produkte wie Server, Speicher und Software in Grossbritannien und Europa anbietet. Westcoast vertreibt führende Marken wie HP, Dell und Apple über ein umfangreiches Netzwerk von Wiederverkäufern und Einzelhändlern.
Unsere rolle bei der transaktion
Das Team von Oaklins in der Schweiz beriet ALSO in der Phase nach der Transaktion und erstellte eine PPA gemäss IFRS 3. Der Bericht enthielt die Aufteilung des bezahlten Kaufpreises auf die identifizierbaren erworbenen Vermögenswerte und übernommenen Verbindlichkeiten.
