Ryan Makis

Ryan is an associate director at Intrepid Investment Bankers, Oaklins' member firm in Los Angeles. His transactional experience covers several industries, with a particular focus on technology, digital media and consumer products. Notable deals he has been involved in include a growth recapitalization of Avaap by New MainStream Capital; the sale of Drawloop Technologies to Nintex, a portfolio company of TA Associates and Updata Partners; the sale of Pitch to Project: WorldWide; the equity investment in LORAC Cosmetics by Encore Consumer Capital; the sale of Chatters Canada to ONCAP; and the sale of Uncle Milton Industries to KCB Management.

Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked for JDB Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank based in Scottsdale, Arizona. He also worked in football operations for the Washington Redskins of the NFL. He has an AB in Economics, with honors, from Princeton University and he is a FINRA-registered representative.
