Mandarin and Banca Esperia have acquired La Fabbrica S.p.A.
Mandarin Capital Partners and Banca Esperia have acquired La Fabbrica S.p.A via the Italcer S.p.A. investment vehicle. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Mandarin Capital Partners is an Italian and Chinese private equity investment fund active in the mid-market segment. Banca Esperia is a private bank owned by Mediobanca.
La Fabbrica S.p.A., a former subsidiary of Dafin SPA, manufactures and sells pavements and ceramic floor coverings for outdoor and indoor applications. It sells its products through a sales network in Italy and internationally. Founded in 1994, the company is based in Castel Bolognese, Italy, and has 80 employees. La Fabbrica's ongoing drive for improvement has allowed it to create cutting-edge collections in design and technology, which meet the technical requirements of architects and interior designers as well as the taste of end consumers.
