Lutz is an associate partner at Oaklins Germany with over 30 years of experience in M&A and corporate finance. As an M&A expert with a strong focus on the retail and consumer goods sectors, he has in-depth knowledge of numerous relevant sub-sectors, such as e-commerce, fashion, beauty and wholesale. In addition, Lutz has gained substantial industry expertise through advising on transactions in business services and real estate. He has advised on more than 100 successfully closed sell-side and buy-side M&A assignments in Germany and internationally. Throughout his career, he has built an extensive network of contacts, both in Germany and abroad, enabling him to identify the most suitable strategic partners for his clients. Lutz has a deep understanding of the German mid-market and maintains many connections with mid-sized companies in the retail, consumer goods, business services and real estate sectors. His network includes companies such as Edeka, REWE, Otto, Metro, Zalando, Douglas, Marc Cain, DERTOUR and Hugo Boss.

Lutz has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim and a PhD from the University of Munich.
