R&M Ship Technologies has been acquired by NORD Holding GmbH
Nord Holding AG has acquired, together with the management team, 100% of the shares of R&M Ship Technologies (R&M) from Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services GmbH.
R&M is a global provider of individual and turnkey solutions for interior outfitting on board all types of ships and maritime applications. The company's extensive portfolio comprises services along the entire value chain, including engineering, consulting, design, planning, implementation and production of new builds, conversions, and repairs. R&M is the most profitable firm among the market leaders in the field of ship interior expansion and vessel insulation in Germany and Scandinavia.
As a leading German investment companies, NORD Holding has successfully invested in mid-sized, high-growth companies since 1969. NORD Holding is a long-term investor in several industries. The firm does not take operational roles but supports the management teams with its expertise in strategic and financial issues, such as investment in new technologies, the selection of executives and the entry into new markets and regions.
Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services is active in the maritime industry and provides engineering services and outfitting for a wide variety of types of vessels, yachts and offshore platforms. The company operates in Germany, Norway, Denmark and the US.
