U-Power has acquired 100% of KÜBLER
August 2026 — U-Power Group S.p.A., a leading player in the European personal protective equipment (PPE) market controlled by Renaissance Partners and the Uzzeni family, has signed binding agreements to acquire 100% of Paul H. Kübler Bekleidungswerk GmbH & Co. KG (KÜBLER). The transaction brings together two leading European companies in the PPE sector, combining complementary strengths, established market positions and proven distribution networks to further expand their presence in Europe and unlock new growth potential. U-Power contributes its international presence, strong position in safety footwear and workwear and extensive distribution networks, while KÜBLER adds decades of expertise in workwear and PPE, a strong position particularly in the DACH region and an established specialist retail network. Closing remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected in Q1 2027.
U-Power, founded in 2006 and headquartered in Paruzzaro, Italy, is a European leader in safety work footwear and also operates in the workwear segment. The group operates the U-Power, Jallatte and Aimont brands and supplies its products to more than 10,000 specialist retailers in over 50 countries. U-Power is recognized for its Italian design, high-quality products and commitment to sustainability, with fully carbon-neutral product lines and an EcoVadis Gold rating placing it in the top 5%
For more than 70 years, KÜBLER has been developing high-quality workwear and protective clothing for professional users. Based in Plüderhausen, Germany, the company is known for innovative product solutions, high-quality standards and functional design. With a broad portfolio of workwear and personal protective equipment and a strong presence in specialist retail, KÜBLER is an established workwear brand in German-speaking and European markets.
