Novedo has acquired Nordkabel A/S

Novedo has acquired Nordkabel A/S.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and founded in 2020, Novedo acquires and develops profitable companies across three segments: industrials, infrastructure and installation and services. Novedo seeks to acquire high-quality companies and allows these to thrive under a decentralized structure, benefitting from the support of the Novedo group.

Founded in 1988, Nordkabel is a Danish company with approximately 200 employees. Headquartered in Aars, it has eight locations in Jutland. The company carries out installations and maintenance, foremost within electricity networks, fiber and water. Nordkabel has a strong and stable customer base exclusively within B2B, consisting of long customer relationships, often via framework agreements, and close collaborations with municipalities, private and public energy suppliers and telecom companies. Seasonal variations are managed by balancing new installations with maintenance work.

Oaklins’ team in Denmark advised Novedo on the acquisition of Nordkabel, from unlocking the situation to supporting Novedo throughout the process.

Parties
“The acquisition of Nordkabel is an important milestone for Novedo, as our first international acquisition. Oaklins has been instrumental in unlocking this opportunity and has been a close sparring partner throughout the process.”
