Färg & Co. Måleri has been acquired by Layer Group

The owner of Färg & Co. Måleri has sold the company to Layer Group, a portfolio company of Litorina and Bragnum Invest.

Färg & Co, with roots dating back to 1919, is a Swedish full-service provider in the fields of painting and related services. The company has established a well-known brand in Värmland and offers its services to both public and private property owners through framework agreements and well-established customer relationships.

Layer Group, founded in 2020 with Litorina and Bragnum Invest as majority owners, is a leading corporate group in surface treatment services in Sweden and Finland. The group consists of approximately 60 companies, each with a strong local brand in the service areas of painting, flooring, and industrial coatings. Together, the group has a turnover of approximately US$211 million and employs 1,600 people.

Oaklins’ team in Sweden acted as financial advisor to the owner and CEO of Färg & Co. Måleri. Oaklins’ approach and methodical work ensured a well-executed process.
