January 2022 — Universe Group Plc has been acquired by PDI Software.

Universe Group, an AIM listed company, is a financial technology firm. It designs, builds, installs and supports systems in 5,700 retail sites – processing over 15 billion transactions each year through its data centers.

PDI Software is a leading provider of ERP software and services to the convenience retail and petroleum wholesale marketer industries. The company is headquartered in the USA.

Our role in the transaction

Oaklins Cavendish’s sister firm finnCap, based in the UK, advised Universe Group on its takeover by PDI Software.
