Globeducate has acquired Colexio M. Peleteiro
May 2026 — With the acquisition of Colexio M. Peleteiro, Globeducate has further consolidated its position as one of the leading education groups in the Iberian Peninsula, expanding a network that already includes 15 schools across Spain, Andorra and Portugal, including two in Galicia, located in Vigo and A Coruña.
Globeducate is an international K–12 education group with more than 65 bilingual and international schools and online programs, serving over 40,000 students across 11 countries. The group has an established presence in Spain and Andorra, operating four British international schools in Vigo, A Coruña, Bilbao and Valencia, as well as nine international schools following the Spanish curriculum.
Founded in 1951 and based in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Colexio M. Peleteiro was recently ranked the third best school in Spain by El Mundo. The school has maintained a strong record of academic excellence, having ranked first nationally four times over the past decade and consistently placed among the top four schools. Colexio M. Peleteiro operates a modern, sustainable campus with state-of-the-art facilities and provides top-tier education to more than 1,300 students.
