Groupe Rossi Aero has raised US$6.5 million in equity from IRDI and BNP Paribas
Groupe Rossi Aero has successfully raised US$6.5 million from two private equity houses: IRDI Sodirec Gestion, a local private equity fund, and BNP Paribas Developpement, the private equity arm of bank BNP Paribas.
Groupe Rossi Aero is a tier 1 supplier of the aerospace industry located in Toulouse, France, specialized in metal structure parts and assemblies for civil aircraft. The group produces series parts, spare parts, speed shop services, work packages management and flight-test instrumentation. Groupe Rossi Aero's customers include major bluechip OEMs and other tier 1 suppliers in France and the USA, such as Airbus Group, Safran, Groupe Latecoere, Triumph, and Spirit Airlines, among others. The group employs over 250 people in five sites and generates US$35 million in annual revenues with 20–25% annual growth. Groupe Rossi Aero has been owned by the Rossi family for three generations.
Oaklins’ aerospace and defense team in France acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the seller in this transaction. The team conducted an eight-month-long competitive process between ten private equity houses.
