Bill Sorenson

Principal

Bill is the CEO and a principal at Oaklins Heritage in Jacksonville. His primary focus is developing market strategies, sourcing prospects and referral sources, and acquiring talent. Prior to being named CEO, Bill led deal execution teams in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, healthcare and B2B services. Recent transactions include the sale of Mittauer & Associates, Inc. to CPH Consulting, LLC and the acquisition of United Enertech Holdings by Soler & Polau. Bill has performed hundreds of valuations for clients in multiple industries, including construction, manufacturing, wholesale equipment, professional services and distribution.

Prior to joining Oaklins Heritage, Bill served as a director of management consulting services for an engineering and management services contractor. He also served as a manager for the middle-market consulting division of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Bill received his BBA from Virginia Tech and his MBA from Purdue University. He graduated from the Leadership Jacksonville class of 2015. Bill is the past president of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville, one of the oldest clubs in the world. Bill is also a member of the national advisory board for the National Association of Women Business Owners. Additionally, he serves as a judge for the Florida Manufacturers Association Manufacturer of the Year Award and is a panelist for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce’s ATHENA Program, which supports women entrepreneurs.
