Oaklins expands debt advisory business
M&A advisory continues on its growth path and is expanding its debt advisory expertise with Torsten Aul.
Torsten Aul joined Oaklins as a Managing Director on February 1, bringing extensive experience from his previous role as Partner at Capitalmind Investec. A recognized expert in financing solutions, he has most recently advised mid-sized clients across the DACH region. At Oaklins, he will play a key role in further strengthening and expanding the firm’s debt advisory capabilities.

Torsten Aul will focus on financing solutions closely linked to M&A, including acquisition financing, refinancing, and capital structure optimization. With more than 20 years of experience advising mid-sized companies and private equity firms, he also brings in-depth expertise in financing real estate transactions and renewable energy projects.
Before joining Oaklins, Torsten Aul advised on financing transactions totaling several billion Swiss francs, spanning syndicated loans, promissory note loans, mezzanine financing, and private placements. He held senior roles at ODDO BHF Corporates & Markets, IKB Deutsche Industriebank, and HVB/UniCredit, where he structured tailored financing solutions for clients such as Encavis, Obotritia Capital, LIVIA Group, FCR Immobilien, Alex & Gross, Deutsche Konsum REIT AG, and numerous other prominent mid-market companies.
