Customs Support has acquired Freshport
Customs Support, a portfolio company of Mentha Capital, has acquired Freshport for an undisclosed consideration.
Customs Support is a leading specialist and independent platform that offers both administrative services, consisting of customs declarations and classifications, as well as secondment of customs service professionals. Customs Support is active throughout the Netherlands, with presence at nearly all logistic hubs and ports that provide access into the EU. The company's services include: transit documentation, temporary import and export, secondment and limited fiscal representation.
Freshport is a customs service company located at Schiphol Airport that offers handling and inspection of perishables for human consumption, e.g. fish and meat; perishables not for human consumption, e.g. vaccines or bull semen; ornamental fish; and vegetables and flowers. The company also offers additional services such as cool/frozen storage, sorting, distribution and quality control.
