Smartwares Home Improvement has been acquired by Atlantic Capital
Smartwares B.V. has sold Smartwares Home Improvement to Atlantic Capital, a Dutch independent private equity firm, for an undisclosed consideration.
Smartwares Home Improvement is a distributor of non-food consumer products which contribute to upgrading living and working environments. The company’s products include an optimal mix of A-brands, own brands and private label in the electricity, hardware, painting supplies and sanitary segments. Smartwares Home Improvement’s customers are DIY retailers such as Action, Intergamma, Hornbach.
Smartwares is engaged in the distribution of consumer goods for the DIY industry and related retailers. The company is owned by H2 Equity Partners, NPM Capital and ABNAMRO Participations, three of the most well-respected Dutch private equity firms.
