Euretco B.V. has sold SPORT 2000 Nederland to ANWR-Garant International AG
Euretco B.V., based in the Netherlands, has sold SPORT 2000 Nederland to ANWR-Garant International AG for US$3.2 million. The Netherlands Competition Authorities (NMA) had instructed Euretco to sell SPORT 2000 Nederland following the merger between Euretco B.V. and Intres B.V. earlier this year.
SPORT 2000 International GmbH is a European chain of sports stores with over 3,000 outlets in 19 countries. SPORT 2000 Nederland was a subsidiary of Euretco B.V. and held the exclusive license to operate the well known SPORT 2000 retail formula in the Netherlands.
ANWR-Garant International AG is Europe’s leading trade cooperative supporting over 11,000 shoes, sports and leather goods stores.
Euretco B.V. is the largest retail service organization in the Netherlands with over 2,400 associated entrepreneurs that represent about US$4 billion in consumer sales. Well known store formats and concepts include Intersport, Libris, Lampenier, Blz, Livera, Coach Sneakers and Runnersworld.
