Seistar Holding AS has been acquired by Seihav AS
September 2013 — The majority shareholders of Seistar Holding AS have sold their 55% of the company to Seihav AS for an undisclosed consideration.
Seistar Holding AS is one of the largest well-boat shipping companies within carriage of living salmonoids in Norway. The company has provided services to the aquaculture industry since 1995, with most of its operations located on the western coast of Norway.
Seihav AS, a family-owned holding company owned by the Bakke family in Austevoll, had already 40% interest in the company. After this transaction they will represent 95% of Seistar Holding AS's shareholding.
