Neil is a managing director at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK, and has over 16 years’ experience in advising boards and senior management teams of listed clients on fundraisings and IPOs on both AIM and the Main Market. He is involved in transactions across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on energy and related technologies, and has significant listed M&A experience having advised both corporates and private equity firms on successful takeovers. Recent notable M&A transactions he has advised on include the acquisition of Challenger by Sintana Energy.

Neil is a qualified corporate lawyer by background. He is chairman of the London Stock Exchange’s regional advisory group in Scotland, a board trustee of Over The Wall, a national UK children’s charity, and a member of the international SeriousFun Children’s Network.
