Karsten is a partner at Oaklins Norway. He has 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, M&A and corporate development, working across various capital structures and industries, particularly in the energy, renewables and maritime service sectors. Karsten has considerable expertise in equity research, sales, capital raising and M&A, developed during his time at leading financial and energy institutions, such as ABG Sundal Collier, Pareto and TGS. He has a proven track record of identifying, sourcing and executing successful international growth M&A and divestiture projects. His private equity board experience also demonstrates his ability to drive strategic growth and create value for companies through tailored strategies and transactions.

Karsten has a Master of Business Economics and Administration, with a specialization in finance, from the BI Norwegian School of Management.
