The shareholders of Elizabeth Revestimentos have sold the company to Mohawk Industries, Inc.
Elizabeth Revestimentos is one of the largest ceramic tiles (wet process) manufacturers in Brazil. The company has five industrial plants, with a total production capacity of approximately 56 million m².
Based in the US, Mohawk Industries is the leading global flooring manufacturer, creating products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world. Mohawk’s vertically integrated manufacturing and distribution processes provide competitive advantages in carpet production, ceramic coatings, and laminated, wood, stone and vinyl floors. Industry-leading innovation has spawned products and technologies that differentiate their brands in the marketplace and meet all refurbishment and new build requirements. Mohawk’s brands are among the most recognized in the industry and include American Olean, Daltile, Durkan, Eliane, Feltex, Godfrey Hirst, IVC, Karastan, Marazzi, Mohawk, Mohawk Group, Pergo, Quick-Step and Unilin. During the last decade, Mohawk has turned its American rug-making business into the world’s largest flooring company.
