Metalis Group has been acquired by Leman Industrie
Aalberts N.V. has sold Metalis Group to Leman Industrie. The transaction marks the creation of a leading platform in metalloplastics and mechatronics and marks the beginning of a new chapter for the combined group across strategic global markets. The newly formed group will generate consolidated revenues of approximately US$350 million, employ more than 2,000 people and operate in 10 countries through 14 production sites.
Metalis Group is a manufacturer of high-precision industrial components serving a range of sectors, including mobility; building and energy; industry and electronics; and aerospace and defense. With a strong culture of operational excellence, the group runs a global platform of seven production sites across Europe, Asia and North America, leveraging cutting-edge technology and advanced tooling capabilities. It serves diversified end markets and maintains a loyal blue-chip customer base with limited customer dependency, supported by strong application engineering expertise across a wide range of metals and treatment processes. Its capabilities span precision stamping, deep drawing, flat springs and mechatronics.
Leman Industrie is a family-owned group founded in 1971, specializing in the design, prototyping and manufacture of precision metal and plastic components, particularly for the mobility sector. Recognized for its capabilities in mechatronic connectivity solutions, its expertise includes overmolding, metal cutting, and thermoplastic injection molding. The company employs approximately 900 people across six countries and operates seven production sites.
Aalberts is a Netherlands-based listed industrial technology platform focused on high value-added solutions for the industrial and building sectors.
Oaklins’ team in France acted as the financial advisor to Aalberts on the sale of Metalis Group to Leman Industrie.
