Kwintet Norge AS has sold the company's lifting business to Certex Norge AS. The financial details of this transaction have not been disclosed.
The Kwintet lifting business was founded in 1888 under the name J Lochner & Co and has operated as Kwintet since 2010. The company's lifting business supplies and manufactures lifting equipment for customers in the industry, energy and marine sectors.
Certex Norge AS offers high quality wire rope, high-end lifting gear and value added solutions to customers in the industry, energy and marine sectors. The company provides customers with application know-how, inspections and maintenance services. Their applications range from servicing mobile cranes, elevators, shipyards, wind turbines, on and off-shore oil and gas operators, as well as the mining and steel industry.
Kwintet Norge AS is part of the Kwintet Group. Kwintet is the European market leader in the work wear sector, with a reputation for quality amongst its customers throughout Europe. The group owns several strong brands such as Kansas, Fristads, Wenaas and Hejco.
