Prima Eye Group has been acquired by IDOC

The private shareholders Prima Eye Group have sold the company to IDOC for an undisclosed consideration.

Prima Eye Group is a membership organization that provides customized consulting based on the unique needs of each member in the critical areas of optometric practice management, marketing, staff management, and financial performance. Founded by thought leaders in practice management and optometry, Dr. Jerry Hayes and Dr. Neil Gailmard, Prima’s mission is to help ODs succeed in business.

IDOC, a portfolio company of The Riverside Company, is an alliance of independent optometrists throughout the USA. IDOC includes practices representing more than 1,400 optometrist members. The company has more than 65 partner vendors and provides group purchasing services, marketing, and continuing-education offerings to its members.
