C.F. Stinson, Inc. has received a recapitalization from BV Investment Partners
The private shareholders of C.F. Stinson, Inc. (Stinson) have sold the company to BV Investment Partners for an undisclosed consideration.
Stinson is one of the top 10 designers and tech-enabled, value-added distributors of textiles to the commercial interiors industry nationwide. Family-owned since 1952, the company ships over 50,000 fabric orders per year to commercial furniture manufacturers serving the healthcare, hospitality, office and education markets from its sole distribution facility in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Founded in 1983 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts, BV Investment Partners is a private equity firm specializing in buyouts, mature, later stage, recapitalizations, growth equity investments, and industry roll-ups of lower middle and middle-market companies. The firm typically invests in information and business services. Within this sector, it invests in data and content, software analytics, outsourced services, education, and businesses serving the demand for instant access to data, reliance on infrastructure, and remote managed services such as application hosting, remote monitoring.
