Artisan Plastic Surgery and Artisan Beauté have been acquired by Olympus Cosmetic Group

Olympus Cosmetic Group, a platform providing comprehensive cosmetic surgery, dermatological treatments and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, has completed the acquisition of Artisan Plastic Surgery, LLC and Artisan Beauté, LLC (collectively Artisan), a female-founded and managed cosmetic surgery and medspa enterprise.

Artisan is a premier US cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice and luxury medspa business serving patients in the metro Atlanta region and beyond since 2000. Headquartered in Atlanta, Artisan operates four locations that provide leading-edge treatments to patients. Supported by a talented team of female surgeons, its highly complementary Artisan Beauté medspa locations provide patients with access to Artisan’s comprehensive and skillfully performed non-surgical aesthetic procedures.

Olympus is a provider of comprehensive cosmetic surgery, dermatological treatments and non-surgical cosmetic procedures located in Southeast USA. It is a portfolio company of VSS Capital Partners, which was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in New York. VSS is a private investment firm that invests in lower middle-market healthcare, business services and education companies.

Oaklins TM Capital in the USA served as the exclusive financial advisor to Artisan Plastic Surgery and Artisan Beauté in its sale to Olympus Cosmetic Group.

Parties
“For more than 20 years, Artisan has served the aesthetic needs of a loyal patient base throughout Atlanta and beyond. Dr. Wang-Ashraf and I take great pride in the quality of the practice we’ve built with the support of our close-knit and deeply talented colleagues. We needed a financial advisor that would appreciate what makes Artisan unique and help select the right type of acquiror to assist in building on our strengths. In Oaklins TM Capital, we found the ideal partner. Their deep industry relationships, experience with founder-owners and dedication to their clients gave us comfort through every step of this process. We appreciate the work the team did on our behalf, and we couldn’t be more excited about our partnership with Olympus and VSS.”
