Polaris Software Group has acquired Clarity Information Solutions
Polaris Software Group, backed by August Equity and the leading provider of innovative digital solutions for UK police forces and local authorities, has acquired Clarity Information Solutions. This strategic acquisition significantly broadens Polaris’s product portfolio and cements its position as a major player in the road safety space, both in the UK and internationally.
Headquartered in Oxfordshire, UK, Polaris is the market leader in permitting and offence processing software. It has long-standing relationships with police forces and local authorities across the UK and a growing international footprint. The company provides cloud-based solutions that automate back-office processes, including the processing of traffic and parking violations, permit applications and environmental offences. It also enables the tracking of high-risk police assets such as tasers and firearms.
Clarity provides enterprise content management (ECM) solutions that deliver cost savings, drive process improvement and facilitate compliance for public sector customers. Its ECM solutions are deployed across all areas of the UK public sector, including central government departments, local authorities, health trusts, police forces and fire and rescue services.
