OGD has been sold to Building Beyond Technology Group

Building Beyond Technology Group (BBTG) strengthens its position in the IT sector by welcoming OGD IT-Dienstverlening (OGD) to its platform. With over 1,400 employees, OGD is an established name in the Dutch market as a mission-critical IT service provider for large-scale clients. This addition not only increases BBTG’s scale but also enhances its domain expertise and execution capabilities through close cooperation with the other platform companies.

This expansion is a direct result of BBTG’s ambition to build an innovative, autonomous Dutch systems integrator over the coming years, offering a credible alternative to large international IT service providers. By bringing together leading, complementary powerhouses with synergistic knowledge, experience and innovation capacity, BBTG is reshaping the standard for IT services.

BBTG is currently active across numerous government bodies and financial institutions and is driving digital transformation in socially critical sectors in the Netherlands. With OGD joining the group, BBTG breaks with the traditional IT service model: clients will now benefit from a single Dutch partner offering 24/7 support, leading cybersecurity and deep Microsoft 365 expertise including Copilot, alongside cloud transformation, digitization and AI consulting.

Together with Rubicon and Navara, OGD forms an integrated powerhouse for end-to-end IT service delivery. This alliance also lays the foundation for solutions that ensure digital sovereignty for organizations with strict data compliance requirements. In parallel, employees gain access to expanded specialization tracks and high-impact client projects.

BBTG is a leading specialist in mission-critical Cloud and AI solutions for enterprise organizations in the (semi-)public, financial and socially critical sectors. With this expansion to over 2,000 experts, BBTG supports secure cloud adoption, digital transformation and AI innovation — from strategic advisory to implementation and managed services. The group works closely with leading technology partners such as Microsoft, AWS, GitHub, Snowflake, Databricks and ServiceNow. BBTG also offers tailored solutions for organizations that prioritize digital sovereignty.

The three companies complement each other seamlessly — both strategically and operationally — accelerating internal developments in areas such as AI and cybersecurity. As a result, they offer a fully integrated partner capable of engaging at the C-level while delivering robust, scalable IT solutions from strategy through to execution and managed services.

For enterprise organizations, this represents a clear advantage: genuine Dutch execution power. A future-proof, mission-critical IT partner that combines vision with tangible results.

Oaklins’ team in the Netherlands acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to OGD and its shareholders. This transaction highlights the team’s strong track record and expertise in the IT services market and underscores their experience in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) and private equity-related transactions.
