Saet Group has acquired EDMS

Saet Group has acquired Engineering Design & Manufacturing Services, Inc. (EDMS) for an undisclosed consideration.

Saet Group, with headquarters in Turin, Italy, is a key supplier of induction heating equipment, mainly to players in the automotive and wind energy industries at a global level.

Based in Surgoinville, Tennessee, Engineering Design & Manufacturing Services, Inc. (EDMS) produces induction equipment for the wind energy industry.

Oaklins' team in Italy assisted the buyer in this transaction. The team had advised Saet Group previously on a successful MBI. Following that transaction, an ambitious platform building project was launched to create a global leader in the induction industry. In the framework of this expansion strategy, Oaklins' Italian team advised Saet Group on the acquisition of Induction Equipment India Ltd in August 2007.
