Since the firm’s founding in 1993, AREA Property Partners has overseen the establishment of multiple real estate funds and joint ventures totaling US$13 billion in equity commitments for investments in the United States, Europe and Asia. Its funds have collectively invested in over 500 transactions with an aggregated value in excess of US$60 billion. One of Oaklins' teams in the USA acted as financial advisor to the seller in connection with the consolidation and financing of ten multifamily properties. The team arranged US$52 million of preferred equity financing for ECI from AREA Property Partners in a transaction with an aggregate value of US$208 million.
