Octagon Process LLC has been acquired by Clariant Corporation
Clariant Corporation, a Switzerland-headquartered global specialty chemical producer and distributor, has acquired Octagon Process LLC (Octagon), a leading supplier of de-icing chemicals for aircraft and runways, for an undisclosed consideration.
Octagon is a leading US manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemical fluids for the commercial, cargo and military aviation markets. Over the past 60 years, the company has evolved into a global leader in the development of cutting-edge and environmentally sensitive deicing and anti-icing fluids.
Clariant is a publicly traded global leader in the field of specialty chemicals. Strong business relationships, commitment to outstanding service and wide-ranging application know-how make Clariant a preferred partner for its customers.
