Randall Friedman

Managing Director

Randall is a managing director at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips in New York. He is highly experienced as a healthcare entrepreneur and B2B media executive. In 2019, he launched a consumer-facing healthcare service, Iaso Health, which enables Americans without insurance or a primary care provider to easily access on-demand healthcare, such as urgent care clinics and telemedicine.

Previously, Randall spent 18 years running the leading media brands in foodservice, retail and healthcare, including Nation’s Restaurant News, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, Supermarket News, Chain Store Age and Drug Store News. With experience at family-owned Lebhar-Friedman and at private equity-backed Penton Media, Randall built and grew high-quality content and digital first brands. Randall has been involved in many acquisitions and divestitures over his career, notably as president and CEO of Lebhar-Friedman, where he oversaw its sale to a strategic buyer in 2018. Randall is fluent in Japanese and worked five years in Japan for Duskin, Co. in new business development. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and served as education chair for the Food & Beverage Network and the Retail Network. Randall has a BA from Williams College and an MBA from Fordham University.
