Nicolas Salmon

Associate Director

Nicolás is an associate director at Oaklins APOYO in Peru. He advises family-owned businesses and companies as well as investors on mergers and acquisitions across multiple sectors, with significant experience in consumer goods, agriculture, mining services, retail, logistics, industrials and business services. He has been involved in several domestic and cross-border transactions, including the sale of 100% of MT Industrial, a leading home appliances company in Peru, to Rinnai Corporation; the sale of 100% of Todinno to Molitalia; Talma’s acquisition of 100% of SAI in Colombia; and advising El Comercio on the sale of 100% of the shares of Avansys to Laureate Education Peru. Throughout his career, Nicolás has supported leading Peruvian and regional companies, as well as private equity investors, in strategic acquisitions, divestments and debt restructuring processes.

Nicolás began his career at Oaklins APOYO in 2017, where he advised on numerous M&A transactions and valuation assignments across the region. He later spent time in London at Oaklins Cavendish, gaining additional international exposure before returning to Oaklins APOYO. Nicolás has a master’s in finance from London Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Universidad del Pacífico.
