Ron Salateo

Principal

Ron is a principal at Oaklins Heritage, one of Oaklins’ US member firms. He advises companies across healthcare services, technology‑enabled healthcare platforms and financial services on buy‑side and sell‑side M&A, growth capital planning and strategic partnerships. He has more than 20 years of M&A and corporate development experience, and has worked on over 70 domestic and cross‑border transactions totaling more than US$5 billion in value. Ron’s recent work includes transactions and strategic initiatives for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Florida Blue, Triple‑S, Lucet, Availity, Keralty and Sanitas Medical Centers. His experience covers the full healthcare ecosystem, including provider services, payer organizations, healthcare technology and integrated delivery systems, working closely with founder‑owned businesses, management teams and private equity sponsors on acquisitions, platform build‑outs, co‑investments and ownership transitions.

Before joining Oaklins Heritage, Ron held senior roles in corporate development and strategy at Florida Blue, where he led middle‑market and large‑cap transactions across the healthcare industry. He previously served as vice president of corporate development at Black Knight and FIS, supporting multiple IPOs and driving M&A activities within financial services and technology. Earlier in his career, he worked in management consulting at Booz & Company (now Strategy&), advising multinational clients across the Americas and Europe on strategy, growth and operational improvement. Ron has an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan‑Flagler Business School, is FINRA Series 79 registered and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
