B&B Bioenergie GmbH has completed a restructuring

B&B Bioenergie GmbH has completed a restructuring.

B&B Bioenergie is engaged in the production of pellets, heat and electricity.

Oaklins' team in Austria was mandated in 2012 by Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International AG to perform an independent business review of B&B Bioenergie GmbH for refinancing purposes. Based on the outcome, the team was mandated to act as an advisor to refinance the debt of the lender. The Austrian team identified private individuals who were willing to finance the bank debt engagement based on an equity injection in the company of about US$0.5 million and a down payment to the bank of US$1.5 million for exiting debt exposure.
