Betamont has been acquired by AZC Group

Eterus Capital, a.s. has sold a minority stake in Betamont to AZC Group.

Having been active in the market for 30 years, Betamont is now developing and integrating its own intelligent road and rail transport technologies with a range of products that follows its modular concept of Measure-in-Motion®.

Based in Slovakia, AZC is an industrial business group operating in over 20 countries.

Founded in 2008, Eterus Capital is an investor targeting small and medium-sized companies with growth potential, that have successfully proved their business concept. The fund only invests in minority positions, while management control always remains in the hands of the original shareholders.

Oaklins’ team in Slovakia acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor in this transaction.

The Latvia-based metalworking company East Metal has been acquired from its former Danish owner, East Metal Holding, through a management buy-out (MBO) by a group of private investors, the current owners of Valpro, in partnership with the local management team. Quantum Base began trading on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market under the ticker QUBE following a US$6.4 million (£4.8 million) fundraising round. The company develops Q-ID tags, a quantum-based authentication technology designed to prevent counterfeiting by leveraging atomic-level randomness. Proceeds from the listing will fund product development and commercial expansion, including new operational and commercial hires.
