Roland is a managing partner at Oaklins Austria specializing in the technology sector, with a strong focus on SaaS-based solutions for financial services, including fintech, wealthtech, regtech, insurtech, cyber security and market data solutions. In addition, he advises on business development and the digitization of financial services offerings. With more than 25 years of experience, primarily in the content and software industries, Roland has deep expertise in digital transformation solutions for financial institutions in a B2B environment. He has held CEO and senior management positions across Europe and Asia, consistently driving growth strategies and transformation initiatives. His background includes extensive experience in building and scaling SaaS businesses, cyber security and AI-based business models and product offerings.

Before joining Oaklins in 2025, Roland served as CFO of the Prive Technologies Group, headquartered in Southeast Asia. In this role, he was also managing director of the group’s European entities and operations, and a co-founder and shareholder of Prive Technologies in Europe. Prior to that, he was CEO of one of Europe’s largest financial market data providers, where he successfully led a comprehensive restructuring and growth strategy. Roland has a law degree from the University of Vienna and a certificate from MIT in business growth using AI-based business models.
