Opia Limited has been acquired by Village Roadshow Limited
The shareholders of Opia Limited have sold the company to Village Roadshow Limited for US$35 million.
Opia Limited is a sales promotion consultancy focusing on creating compelling end user and reseller risk managed promotional campaigns which differentiate customers' products from competitors, generate genuine added value and most importantly drive sell out and increase margins.
Village Roadshow Limited is an Australian media company with interests in cinema, theme parks, film production and distribution. Founded in 1954 in Melbourne, Australia, with a drive-in cinema, Village Roadshow has been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) since 1988. In film, Village Roadshow is a major movie producer and film and DVD distributor as well as operator of cinema exhibition circuits. In movie production, the company is one of the most successful independent producers in Hollywood.
