Agustín is a director at Oaklins LarrainVial in Chile. He has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital market and debt capital market transactions in Chile. With a focus on the seafood and healthcare sectors, Agustín has worked on the sell-side and buy-side, and has participated in IPOs, block trades, and follow-on and bond issuance deals. Notable recent transactions include advising Multiexport Foods on the sale of shares equivalent to 25.6% of its salmon farming subsidiary for US$303 million; advising on the announced transaction of Laboratorios Saval acquiring the pharmaceutical laboratory Instituto Sanitas for more than US$80 million; advising on the sale of 65% of Valle Frío, a company specialized in processing and selling frozen fruit; and the sale of 70% of Fiordosur, a company present in the seafood sector selling king crab and Chilean sea bass.

Agustín has a bachelor’s degree in economic and administrative sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
