Agustín is a director at LarrainVial, Oaklins’ member firm in Chile. He has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital market and debt capital market transactions in Chile. With a focus on the salmon and financial sectors, Agustín has worked on the buy-side and sell-side, and has participated in IPOs, block-trades, and follow-on and bond issuance deals. Notable recent transactions include advising Multiexport Foods on the sale of shares equivalent to 25.6% of its salmon farming subsidiary in US$303 million; advising Marcol on the fundraise for Atida, an online pharmacy in Europe, for US$60 million, as well as the fundraise for Medneo, a diagnostic centers company in Europe, for US$35 million; and advising Cermaq on the sale of two salmon processing plants.

Agustín has a bachelor’s degree in economic and administrative sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
