Santiago is a senior associate at Axia, Oaklins’ member firm in Colombia. He has over three years of experience in M&A, capital raising and private equity, working on mandates across a range of sectors, with a focus on consumer & retail, energy, financial institutions and real estate. He has participated in several transactions, including the sale of a leading financial institution; the sale of BRM, a leading BPO and marketing company in Colombia; the sale of a leading retailer in Puerto Rico; and strategic advisory for Dibufala, the leading buffalo cheese manufacturer in Colombia.

Previously, Santiago worked at Pegasus, a Latin American private equity firm. He has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and economics from the Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.
