Amped Wireless has been acquired by Digital Products International

June 2016 — Jason Owen, the owner of Amped Wireless, has sold the company to Digital Products International, Inc. Financial details have not been disclosed.

Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Amped Wireless specializes in providing long range wireless consumer and business communication products for the home and office.

Digital Products International offers consumer electronic audio and video products. It offers shelf music systems, personal CD players, home theater systems, televisions, AM/FM radios, digital audio (MP3/WMP) devices, and accessories. The company also provides home and kitchen appliances, including toasters, counter-top grills, blenders, skillets, mini-fridges, wine coolers, popcorn and coffee makers, and steam irons. In addition, it provides multi-touch tablets made for Android. The company sells its products through distributors, mass merchandisers, specialty electronics stores, variety and drug chains, and home shopping networks in the US. It also supplies to direct mail and premium accounts.
