Nina is a managing director at BT Capital Partners, Oaklins’ member firm in Romania, currently leading the investment banking and capital markets department. She has over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing large corporate projects, deal structuring and negotiations, having closed transactions totaling over US$1.4 billion. She has been involved in projects across multiple industries, developing a specific focus on financial services, real estate, energy and telecommunications. Recent M&A transactions include the sale of Brise Group’s 15 grain silos infrastructure to CEE Equity, the sale of Eurolines Romania’s tourism division to DER Touristik as well as numerous capital market transactions, such as a US$44 million (€40 million) bond issuance for BT Leasing, the leading financial leasing company in Romania; US$23 million (€20 million) through a bond private placement for Autonom, the largest local player in the car rental and operational leasing sector; US$3.8 million (€3.5 million) bonds for Vivre Deco, the largest online retailer of furniture in the SEE; and the US$500 million (€415 million) government bonds issued by the Romanian Ministry of Finance.
Before joining the firm in 2018, Nina coordinated the syndication and structured finance division of Banca Transilvania, the parent company of BT Capital Partners and the largest financial group in Romania. During her time at Banca Transilvania, Nina was appointed to BT’s Ambassadors Team, in charge of coordinating the merger process between BT and Bancpost following the acquisition of Bancpost. She also held leading positions in various top-tier banks in Romania, working in project finance and investment banking departments.
