Die Balda AG (Balda) hat die C. Brewer Company in Anaheim, Kalifornien, erworben.
Balda in Deutschland entwickelt und fertigt hochwertige Kunststoffsysteme für medizinische Geräte sowie komplette Elektronikprodukte für Kommunikation und Unterhaltung. Das Segment Balda Medical in Bad Oeynhausen entwickelt und produziert Kunststofflösungen für die Märkte Medizintechnik, Pharma und Diagnose.
Diese Akquisition ist Teil der Buy-and-Build-Strategie von Balda im Geschäftsbereich Medical. Mit der Akquisition erweitert Balda seinen Präsenz auf dem strategisch wichtigen US-Markt und stärkt sein Medizintechnikgeschäft nachhaltig.
Das Familienunternehmen C. Brewer Company ist auf Präzisions-Kunststoffspritzguss und die damit zusammenhängenden Formen spezialisiert, insbesondere für Kunden aus der medizinischen und optischen Industrie sowie aus den Bereichen Automotive und Elektronik.
